Jeyoon:
Luxury Modest Swimwear
With roots deeply embedded in the beautiful UAE, Jeyoon aim’s to provide women with the freedom to choose how they present themselves to the rest of the world, and the confidence to do so proudly. The brand’s founder spotted a gap in the market for a collection of luxury, sustainable swimwear that was not only inclusive of different body types and varying levels of modesty but would also be long-lasting in the UAE weather.
Luxury Lingerie Design, Build and Production with BodywearLab
Jeyoon’s founder came to us with a strong concept that was unique and filled a specific niche in the market, but they required the team at Bodywear Lab’s support with technical design and industry expertise. They wanted to create sustainable swimwear that was inclusive of a wide range of body types and modesty preferences, as well as appropriate for the warm UAE weather. We worked collaboratively with Jeyoon’s founder to conceptualise product designs, the final colour palette for the colourways, plus sustainable fabric selection and sampling. We helped design this modest swimwear collection made up of sustainable materials from scratch for women looking for more of a modest option whether that be for religious or personal preference reasons.
Branding, Marketing and PR with HYSCULPT
Working with HYSCULPT, Jeyoon’s founder & the design team at Bodywear Lab were able to create a rich colour palette that reflected the brand identity and could be seamlessly integrated into both product design and branding. The team at HYSCULPT also supported Jeyoon with establishing Jeyoon’s tone of voice, logo, signifier and their overall brand identity before also developing their social media and packaging. We did so by building on their already strong brand narrative, reflecting its origins through the colours inspired by the tranquil sands and sunsets of the UAE desert, whilst further sending a positive emotional message of harmony through its logo and signifiers.
After completing Jeyoon’s branding our team strengthened the brand narrative through an icon design to be used throughout the brand’s social media and website. The icon is composed of an eye, waves, dunes, and a pearl all within a circle. The circularity of this signifier sends a positive emotional message of harmony, the eye suggests enlightenment of minds, the waves and dunes represent the brand’s origins in the UAE and finally, the pearl at the centre represents wisdom.
The final custom project we created with Jeyoon is a package of hand-drawn illustrations to add to the character of the brand and help deliver messages in a personal and stylish manner. Using the colours determined in the branding pack as well as key elements of the brand’s values, the following illustrations were created to be used across the brand’s packaging, socials and even website.
